Being romantic isn't enough these days to secure a relationship. So to make a lasting impression with an original first date could definitely seal the deal. Going to the cinema is old news, and no longer original enough to capture the mind and hearts of a potential partner.
There is of course the issue of cost, how much will it cost to win a date over, surprisingly there are affordable things to do in London when dating, that won't cost an extortionate amount of money. Do some research into the type of food the individual likes, but instead of going to a restaurant arrange to meet at park that has scenic views, such as Holland Park, thought to be one of London's most romantic park locations, why not make a hand prepared meal of favourite dishes and have a picnic for 2? It wouldn't hurt to have a rose or 2 on hand.
There are agencies in London that will accommodate the busy professionals dating needs a bespoke service, where by everything is arranged, the date and time is pinpointed and all that's needed are for both parties to turn up. For those who want to be with individuals into more fun activities, there's an agency specifically geared for those into dancing. There are particular agencies that connect people who are into dancing, and want to date other like-minded people who can dance or at least willing to learn, so this agency offers dancing lessons for flamenco, salsa, tango etc. They have 2 sets of clients, those who just want to learn how to dance and those who want to do both, learn how to dance and date. It makes for a very interesting evening doing a fun activity, and meeting new people. Definitely seems worth having a go, especially if you're tired of dating people who don't share the same the same interests.
For those who have a passion for the arts, visit the National Art Gallery, or the Natural History Museum, having things in common helps to alleviate awkward silent moments. Looking at the past can be helpful for the future, and it's also something very different to do. If you visit the gallery which is free normally, then you can splurge a little on a nice, intimate restaurant where you can continue the conversation.
